The Hubcap Comedy Festival presents Thursday Night for Laughs: All-Star Gala Hosted by Ryan Belleville (star of Almost Heroes on Showcase), this star-studded gala features the best stand up comedians from across Canada.

Ryan Belleville, Kathleen McGee, Dave Merheje, Mike Wilmot, Paul Sveen, Don Kelly, Aaron Berg & Roman Danylo

Now Magazine describes Ryan as “Silly and Surreal” and “One of Canada’s top comedic talents.” Ryan got his start in improvisation before moving into the world of stand up comedy. He is the winner of a Canadian Comedy Award, and the Phil Hartman Award. Ryan was also the youngest comic to ever tape his own Comedy Now television special!

La Revue Acadienne: Pour le meilleur ou pour le pire Les humoristes de la Revue Acadienne soulignent leur dixième anniversaire en présentant le spectacle POUR LE MEILLEUR ET POUR LE PIRE.

POUR LE MEILLEUR ET POUR LE PIRE se veut un clin d’œil au mariage royal et à la visite du duc et de la duchesse de Cambridge en Atlantique, mais c’est d’abord et avant tout une façon de souligner les 10 ans de la Revue Acadienne. On ne peut se le cacher, l’union de nos 5 humoristes il y a déjà une décennie nous rappelle la vie de couple! Depuis 10 ans, sans se cacher, ils nous présentent le meilleur et le pire de l’actualité d’ici et d’ailleurs!

Pour souligner de façon particulière le 10e anniversaire de la Revue Acadienne et pour se faire plaisir, Mireille Blanchard, Samuel Chiasson, Robert Gauvin, Jean-Sébastien Levesque et André Roy ramèneront des personnages marquants : Cayouche, Joseph Edgar, Lisa LeBlanc, Yvon Godin, Wilfred LeBouthillier.

Nikki Payne

Nikki Payne is a comedienne who hails from Nova Scotia, and is one of Canada’s most original comics. Her no holds barred style of comedy, and lisp are two things which make Nikki Payne standout as an innovator in the Canadian comedy scene. She is the recipient of three Canadian Comedy Awards and is a two-time Gemini nominee. Her Comedy Inc. special on CTV was one of the networks most viewed. You may also know here from NBC’s Last Comic Standing or as a regular on Much Music’s Video on Trial.
